The watch is housed in a perfectly proportioned 18K white gold case, 41 mm in diameter and 10.52 mm thick, and is powered by a new movement. The case is decorated with Patek Philippe's signature guilloché pattern, wrapping around the entire side of the case.

A small seconds hand is positioned at 6 o'clock on the date and day sub-dial, which we felt made the design slightly cluttered and potentially confusing if you only glance at the date display quickly—even though the seconds hand is shorter than the date display hand.
The Calatrava 8-Day Power Reserve watch (model 5328G-001) comes with two interchangeable straps: one is a blue calfskin strap with a fabric texture and beige stitching, and the other is a grained taupe calfskin strap (not shown in the image). Both straps feature a new patented three-folding clasp, enhancing security and wearing comfort while allowing for quick, tool-free strap changes.
